Pinckney Community Schools issued the following announcement on Oct 28.
If the past 18 months have taught us anything, it has demonstrated how essential a quality Internet connection is to our daily lives. Livingston County’s Board of Commissioners understand that there are many areas in our community that are underserved or unserved by broadband access. In order to bridge this digital divide, the County, in partnership with Merit Network, is asking residents to complete a 5-minute survey about their home or business connection. This information will only be used to plan for potential broadband expansion and is the critical first step toward addressing needs in our community. By participating in this survey, each resident will help Livingston County plan for a better connected future.
The survey is now open for residents to complete and will close on December 28th. To take the survey, residents may visit https://www.merit.edu/livgov/. If residents would prefer to complete a paper survey, please call 517-294-2276 to request one. Paper surveys have been mailed to homes that were identified using FCC data as having no or poor internet connection. Thank you for your time and input.
