Walleye Update

Update

Walleye Update.

The fish are now around an inch long.  Operators Bill Nichols and Kate Mowbray were out on the walleye pond this morning testing the water quality and checking on available food.  Bill is using a portable dissolved oxygen meter to test the oxygen level and temperature at one-foot increments from the surface to the bottom of the pond.

The environment is looking good for the walleye, and they should be large enough to switch from eating zooplankton to minnows in the next week or two.
