City of East Jordan issued the following announcement on Nov 11.
The final day of harvesting walleye at the East Jordan Wastewater Plant resulted in an additional 843 fish. This brings the grand total to 2341 fish that were all planted in Intermediate Lake. The average length was 7 ½”. These fish were some of the original babies that were put in the pond this spring and were presumed to have died.
Nature found a way and these guys have been munching on minnows all summer. They only made their presence known to us in October. Sneaky fish!
