This Friday, October 7 at noon is the last outdoor warning siren for the season. The warning siren is not just for tornados, they can alert for all types of emergencies, including chemical hazards. In the days leading up to the October 7 warning siren, Ottawa County is asking the community to "pause and follow these steps to shelter in place during a chemical hazard."
