Bivalent COVID-19 Boosters Now Available

CDC now recommends bivalent COVID-19 booster doses for eligible people ages 12 years and older. To be eligible for the bivalent booster, at least two months must have passed since:

• The completion of a primary COVID-19 vaccine series (Moderna, Pfizer, or Janssen),  

OR

• The administration of a COVID-19 booster dose (Moderna, Pfizer, or Janssen).

People can choose between a Moderna or Pfizer bivalent booster. The bivalent Moderna booster dose is available to people ages 18 years and older. The bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech booster dose is available to people ages 12 years and older.
