At the Jan. 5 Fenton City Council work session, Mayor Sue Osborn presented a plaque to Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation for their efforts as lockdowns ended and area residents emerged again for the outdoor events we're known for.
Osborn thanked SLPR, and singled out Executive Director Ed Koledo, who accepted the plaque on behalf of the organization, for his efforts.
"Ed is doing such a great job with SLPR," she said. "He was so instrumental in getting us back on track after the Covid shutdown."
