UPDATE: We have a limited supply of free bike lights available for residents to pick up at City Hall.
With more and more people choosing to bike to their destination for exercise, to save money, to improve air quality, or to just go for a ride for recreation, Grand Valley Metropolitan Council wants to make sure that bicyclists are aware of the law and that they are visible--especially at night. To help increase the visibility of area bicyclists, GVMC is giving away bike lights for FREE to residents, organizations, and businesses in our region. These lights operate in two modes — continuous on and strobe — and clip over the front handlebars.
