City of Howell issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
It’s National Chili Day and we’d be remiss if we did not acknowledge our very own Chili Queens. In the fall, City staff had a Chili Cook Off Competition and the winners were our Clerk Angie Guillen and HR Director Jamie Helman. The winning chili was determined through a cash vote by staff, and the funds raised were used for our Adopt a Family Holiday program.
Anyone interested in celebrating National Chili Day could do so by dropping some delicious chili off to the 3rd floor of City Hall, addressed to “City Social Media Person”. I’ve *BEAN* cravin’ it.
