City of Fenton issued the following announcement on Jan 14.
City of Fenton officials have located the site of a water main break in the Appletree subdivision in the northwest part of the city.
Because the break is in a wooded area about 1,000 feet from the nearest street, repairs will take some time. The Department of Public Works will begin repairs early Saturday morning.
Managers and technicians at the city's water plant are monitoring the system to ensure the supply keeps up with demand. In the meantime, residents may experience low water pressure tonight and Saturday.
The city will inform residents if a boil-water advisory is necessary.
