Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan 4.
We got in these beautiful recycled wool blankets from The Tartan Blanket Co. company recently. We were thrilled to find a blanket that reuses wool! They are 70% recycled wool and 30% mixed fibers that would otherwise end up in a landfill. We have 2 colors: Green Herringbone and Antique Buchanan Tartan (so appropriate for our location!). The Tartan Blanket Company also donates 2% of each purchase to humanitarian and environmental charities, so we were thrilled to find another company that aligns with our own mission.
They say that the benefits of wool are that it is naturally breathable, insulating, hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, moisture wicking, odor resistant, recyclable, biodegradable, sustainable. These blankets can also be washed in your machine.
