It's a slippery one out there folks!!! Please as a reminder. Share this on your page! All emergency agencies here within Livingston County are using this procedure. Vehicles that have been either abandoned and or involved in spinouts during harsh weather conditions will be marked like this. We take caution tape and tie it from mirror to mirror over the windshield and a small section tied to the antenna if the vehicle has one.
Marking vehicles like this tells us that the vehicle has been checked for any emergencies and that there is no need to respond back to it. If you call 911 to report a vehicle off the road the dispatcher may ask you if you had seen caution tape in the areas pictured above so please keep that in mind!
