Livingston County Health Department issued the following announcement on Nov 24.
Free Moderna COVID-19 booster dose appointments are available at Chilson Hills Church on Tuesday, December 7th. To schedule an appointment, visit https://bit.ly/2Z5Hq2b.
You must bring proof of your prior COVID-19 vaccinations to the appointment. Request your vaccination records here: www.michigan.gov/MIimmsportal
CDC now recommends COVID-19 booster doses for everyone ages 18 and up. If you received an mRNA vaccine, either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, you may get a booster dose 6 months after your 2nd dose. If you received a one-dose vaccine, Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen, you may get a booster dose 2 months after your initial vaccination.
