City of East Tawas issued the following announcement on Nov 3.
The Annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony in downtown East Tawas will be held on Saturday, December 4th. The parade starts at the East Tawas Post Office beginning at 5:00 p.m. and goes down the first three blocks of Newman Street. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin immediately after the parade.
