City of East Tawas issued the following announcement on Oct 1.
As a part of National Fire Prevention week (October 3rd through October 9th), the East Tawas Fire Department will be hosting and Open House, Saturday, October 9th from 10 am to 2 pm. Fire prevention materials will be available for all ages along with photos opportunities with fire trucks, police cars and Shriner’s Mini Model T’s.
