City of Rockford issued the following announcement on Sept 9.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rockford City Council will hold a public hearing Monday, September 13, 2021, at or about 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 7 South Monroe Street, Rockford, Michigan, to receive public comment, written or verbal regarding a proposal to close Main Street, from Bridge to Courtland, between the dates of October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
A copy of the proposal is available for public inspection online at www.rockford.mi.us or at the Municipal Building during normal business hours.
Persons with special needs, as defined in the Americans with Disability Act, should contact the City Clerk at 866-1537 or the Michigan Relay Center TDD 1-800-649-3777.
