City of Buchanan issued the following announcement on July 31.
These words I type come from my heart all the way to Tokyo, Japan where my friend Hannah Roberts BMX is awaiting qualifying for the Olympics tonight for the first time ever in BMX freestyle!
I met this young lady around age 9 or 10 and we have had nothing but fun ever since. The first time I met her I could tell she was going to be something very special and I did everything in my power to make sure to help her in any way possible to help open doors to an amazing future in the world of BMX freestyle.
This young lady has the determination and sheer power of 10 Olympians, I am so proud of her words escape me. I want everyone to wish her good luck tonight in qualifying and tomorrow night at 9:00 on LIVE on CNBC for the finals!
