City of Buchanan recently issued the following announcement.

Summer Activities
Program...Kathryn Park"
Today is the first day for the Summer Activities Program for "Have Fun at Buchanan Parks" at Kathryn Park.
Even though there are cloudy skies and a few rain drops, they were not keeping the children from the playground equipment, playing catch, enjoying the swings and looking over the Youth Garden.
Also, when at the Park, please make use of the "Little Free Library", which is located on the Fourth Street side of Kathryn Park.
It's always fun featuring our youth enjoying outdoor activities. For me, it's wonderful to see another generation having fun at the oldest park in Buchanan.
The Summer Park Program is in effect every Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
