City of Howell issued the following announcement.
All tax bills will be mailed on June 30th, 2020. Remember the Due Date is JULY 31, 2020. Postmarks are not accepted. A 24-Hour Drop Box, located in the ATM lobby, is available for payments during or after regular business hours.
Credit/ Debit Card or E-Check payments: To pay with a credit/debit card or e-check, visit www.cityofhowell.org call 888-891-6064, or pay with your credit/debit card in-person at the City of Howell. Please note that a convenience fee is charged for this service.
Escrow/Mortgage Company payments: Your mortgage code number will appear in the Tax Detail section of the bill. It is your responsibility to be sure your mortgage company has requested your bill for payment. Failure to receive payment by the due date will result in penalty and interest charges.
If you do not receive your bill by July 8th, contact the Finance Department at 517 546 3500.
