City of Brighton issued the following announcement on Aug 19.
The utility repair on Rickett Road between the railroad tracks and Grand River is scheduled to begin on September 1 and will require a full road closure of both north and southbound Rickett Road in this area. Please see the below map, which shows the location of the closure. Construction is anticipated to last until late October to early November. Full access will be available to all businesses, their customers and employees and all residents.
Please follow all detour and construction signage for your safety and the safety of those working in this area. You can visit the City's website at www.brightoncity.org to see the proposed detour route.
