On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Howell High School standout Maddie Springer’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Howell High School standout Maddie Springer’s current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolfpack this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. at Dail Softball Stadium against Northern Colorado Bears.
