Expenditures: How much did Livingston County-based Ann Bollin for State Representative spend in April?

Ann Bollin for State Representative spent the most out of all the political committees based in cities associated with Livingston County during April, 2021, according to the Michigan Department of State.

The committee paid $5,000 to House Republican Campaign Committee for dues.

The largest expense was $5,000 paid to House Republican Campaign Committee based in Brighton for dues.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Livingston County during the month came from Bob Bezotte for State Representative. It spent $4,000 during that period on one vendor.

What’s known as “dark money,” which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer outspent her opponents by a wide margin, spending nearly $600,000 more than the second-highest spending candidate.
