The local public accounting firm of Lewis & Knopf, CPA, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of an intern and two new staff members to the firm. Jessica Lamoreaux joins the firm as a tax intern, and both Jessica Myers and Shreemoyee “Shree” Maitra join the team as staff accountants.

“It is always exciting to welcome new interns and staff to the firm,” said Greg Waller, CPA, CGMA, Managing Principal of Lewis & Knopf. “I look forward to working with Jessica, Jessica, and Shree and seeing how they grow and thrive in their new positions.”

Prior to joining Lewis & Knopf, Lamoreaux served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist (E-4). She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan – Flint and anticipates earning her degree in December 2023. She currently lives in Flushing, Michigan, with her husband, Lucas.

Myers brings over five years of accounting industry experience to the firm, having previously worked as an assistant controller. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baker College. Myers resides in Davison, Michigan, with her three children.

Maitra has a background in economics, and prior to joining the Lewis & Knopf team, worked as a lecturer at the University of Michigan – Flint. She holds a Master of Economics from the State University of New York, Albany, and is currently finishing a Master of Science in Accounting degree at the University of Michigan – Flint. Originally from India, Maitra has settled in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where she lives with her husband and child.
