Southwest Pastry Breakfast
On Wed, October 5, Southwest Elementary hosted a parent-pastry breakfast, a bi-annual event happening for the first time since 2019. Teachers helped pass out donuts, coffee, and apple juice to students and parents. This provides a bonding time for parents/guardians and students and also brings the school community together. "We just like to spend a lot of family time together, and we haven't done this day in a long time, so it's nice to have it back," Southwest parent Megan said.
