On Thursday, Feb 24, Mr. Bonanni’s class at Voyager Elementary explored many different S.T.E.A.M activities. Classes can do these activities every week. The activities include a microscope, logic-building games, and building blocks. All activities are unstructured to allow the students to discover and let their imagination fly. Out of all the available activities, the class favorite is the microscope. Students can look at different slides and find a love for discovery. Three girls that were using the microscope below were even examining their hair. “I’m so excited to see how these activities impact the kids; they open up fields to the kids that wouldn’t have been opened up before,” Mrs. Gee, the librarian, said.
