As we enter March and have some changes in weather and possible storms some important information to remember about generators.
Generators should be used in well ventilated areas outside. 5 feet from any window or door. Never use them in a garage, even if the door is open. Position the generator so the exhaust is directed away from the house, doors, windows, vents, any openings. If you run out of fuel in your generator allow it to cool down before refueling.
FACT: A person can be poisoned by a small amount of CO over a longer period of time or by a large amount of CO over a shorter amount of time. Stay Safe !!
