58 percent of applicants to Cleary University were admitted for fall 2018

At Cleary University, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Howell enrolled 594 students in fall 2018, including 474 in undergraduate and 120 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

94 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 2 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (65 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 58 percent of the 295 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
