On Monday, April 14, former Hartland High School standout Sam Clay’s current college team, the Davenport Panthers, lost 14-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex against Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.
