Road Construction Season

Livingston County Sheriff’s Office issued the following announcement on Apr 15.

The weather is starting to get better, and everyone knows what that means… Road Construction Season is here!

This week is National Work Zone Awareness Week and we want to remind all drivers to slow down and use extra caution in work zones.

In 2019, 842 people were killed in 762 fatal work zone crashes, and a majority of those were motorists and their passengers. Save your life, your loved ones’ lives, and the lives of construction workers by driving safe through work zones.
