On Wednesday, March 26, former Howell High School standout Maddie Springer’s current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Michigan State Spartans.

The game took place at Secchia Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Nan Harvey Field against Buffalo Bulls.
