PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rockford City Council has scheduled a Public Hearing for Monday, May 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 7 S. Monroe Street, Rockford, MI 49341, for the purpose of discussing adoption of the 2022-23 Downtown Development Authority Budget and millage rate. The proposed millage rate is 1.8030 mils. A copy of the proposed budget will available for public inspection after May 9 on the City’s website.
THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.
Public comments, either oral or written, are welcome at the Public Hearing and can also be sent to the City via email at tbeard@rockford.mi.us
