On Wednesday, March 12, former Brighton High School standouts Mason McGuire and Nick Baker’s current college team, the Wayne State Warriors, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park against Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs.
